At the conclusion of ski jumping competitions, and occasionally during long weather delays, volunteers known as forejumpers or course slippers slide down the landing hill to pack the snow. The famous "belly-slide," however, is a tradition typically reserved for the very end of the Winter Olympic Games.

In Milan, that tradition lived on. After the Men’s Large Hill final, volunteers at the Predazzo Ski Jumping Stadium celebrated by sliding down the K-point in a human chain, bringing a joyful and time-honored close to the event.
