Remember Cooper Lutkenhaus? The 16-year-old who became the youngest American to compete at the World Champs in 2025? Fans and analysts had dubbed him the next big thing in track. Well, he’s back!
Lutkenhaus ran his first race as a professional yesterday and lowered his own national record. He won the men’s 800 meters in 1:45.23, and set a new U20 american mark. Watch his race above!
