RACE OF THE DAY

It was a tough day for Marco Odermatt at the World Cup Finals in Hafjell. He failed to finish his first run in the giant slalom after setting the fastest time in the opening sector, only to be thrown off-line and miss a gate in the second sector, bringing his race to an abrupt end. As a result, he missed out on the top podium despite entering the day with a commanding lead.
