Hey Athletic Fans,

The biggest hot topic in the Athletics world is the tension between training mates Melissa Jefferson-Wooden and Sha’Carri Richardson, ever since the close race between the two at the Prefontaine Classic. Well, the World Champion’s words might give us a look into whether there is any truth to the matter.

In other news, America’s beloved Tara Davis-Woodhall reveals an internal battle going on before hopping into her first Diamond League of the season.

The Missing Step in Your Summer Skincare Routine

Summer means more time in the sun, and more opportunity for UV damage to quietly accumulate. UV exposure is the #1 driver of visible skin aging — more than stress, sleep, or genetics. Every unprotected moment adds up, and a single exposure can trigger collagen breakdown for up to 7 days, leading to the fine lines, sagging, and loss of firmness that show up on your skin over time.

Daily SPF is essential. But protection alone doesn't address the damage that UV has already done – that's where the OS-01 Peptide comes in. It’s proven to reverse the visible effects of UV aging, going further than any SPF can on its own. OneSkin's limited-edition summer bundles pair peptide-powered sunscreens with their bestselling OS-01 skincare — building a complete system for keeping skin visibly smooth, firm, resilient, and protected all summer long.

Today is the day USA’s John Thorpe won the gold medal in the Pentathlon event at the 1912 Stockholm Olympics. But this gold medal also marks one of the most controversial Olympic decisions to affect the USA.

Soon after winning, Thorpe’s gold medal was stripped away, as at the time only amateur athletes were eligible to take part in the event. Thorpe had been playing professional baseball, and thus the gold medal was taken away.

Years later, in 1982, Thorpe was awarded the gold medal posthumously and became the co-champion for the event.
