Teenagers are leading the athletics world right now.
A 19-year-old has jumped past the 8m mark, and has broken a record that stood for 46 years. He also shattered the Belarus U20 national long jump record with a lifetime personal best of 8.04 metres. Beyond the long jump, he competes at a high level in the triple jump, with an indoor personal best of 15.53 metres set at the 2026 Belarus Indoor Championships.
