A world-leading run was only part of Alison dos Santos' night — watch what he did for his youngest fans afterwards.

On July 5, 1985, Norwegian runner Ingrid Kristiansen became the first woman to break the 31-minute barrier in the 10,000 meters, clocking a world record of 30:59.42 in Oslo. The run cemented her status as one of the greatest distance runners of her era, as she simultaneously held world records in the marathon and 5,000 meters.
