Missed Thursdayâs Zurich Diamond League final? Hereâs a fast-track recap for you:
Womenâs 200m: Brittany Brown blazed to a win in 22.13s, grabbed the wild card to Tokyo Worlds, and became just the fourth woman ever to win back-to-back DL 200m titles. Wow!
Menâs 100m: Christian Coleman edged Akani Simbine by 0.01s to claim the DL trophy. Unfortunately, no World Champs wild card for him.
Menâs 110mH: Cordell Tinch clocked 12.92 to secure his first-ever DL trophy.
Womenâs 100mH: Ackera Nugent stormed to victory in 12.30s, snatching the DL crown ahead of Grace Stark and Ditaji Kambundji.
Womenâs 400mH: Femke Bol had an unreal DL outing. She just won her fifth straight DL title in 52.18s. And her 30th career DL win!
Menâs 800m: This race delivered a photo finish! Olympic champ Emmanuel Wanyonyi defended his title in 1:42.37s, just 0.05s ahead of Max Burgin.
Menâs 1500m: Dutch star Niels Laros lit up the track with a 3:29.20, grabbing the DL title and a new national record!
