Today’s court case reminds us of one of the most pivotal hearings in the USA’s history, the case of Marion Jones. She won three gold medals and two bronze medals at the 2000 Olympics in a career-defining run.

But that fame and glory came crashing down when she was stripped of all of them because of the letter that the Olympian wrote to her friends and family. She admitted to using performance-enhancing drugs and later confessed to it at a trial to take responsibility for her actions.
