Hey Athletic Fans,
First things first, Happy Birthday, Olympics!
We'll tell you why that's relevant today below. But before we get there, why does it feel like track and field is losing stars every other week? Another familiar name is stepping away from the sport at 35. Thankfully, Noah Lyles is moving in the opposite direction, and we now know when he'll be back in action.

Every year on June 23, the world celebrates International Olympic Day, a global event that encourages people of all ages to embrace sport, health, and active living. The date marks the founding of the International Olympic Committee in 1894, when Pierre de Coubertin spearheaded the revival of the Ancient Olympic Games, laying the foundation for the modern Olympics.
The theme for Olympic Day 2026 is "You Can Do This. Let's Move," an initiative developed alongside the World Health Organization to encourage young people to take their first step toward a more active lifestyle, reminding them that feeling uncertain or imperfect is a natural part of the journey.

As always, we appreciate your honest feedback. So please tell us…
