We have some sad news today… The sports world has been hit by a tragedy after a two-time Olympian and reigning World Games gold medalist lost her life at the age of 24 in a tragic road accident in her home country.
As the Olympics community grieves this heartbreaking loss, let's take a moment of silence and keep her family, friends, and loved ones in our thoughts during this difficult time.

In case you missed it when we broke the news last night...
The International Olympic Committee has unveiled a landmark initiative under newly elected President Kirsty Coventry, committing more than $10,000 in direct financial support for athletes at the Winter and Summer Olympic Games. While the IOC says its not ‘official prize money,’ the move represents a major step toward greater athlete compensation and recognition, something advocacy groups have been pushing for years.
